China Instrument Society of Instrument Materials Branch

China Instrument Society of Instrument Materials Branch is nation-wide field of functional materials for the instrument function of materials science and technology workers in academic social groups. On December 16 of 1979, in Chongqing, the Society was established in China Instrument and Control Society which was established in the earliest One of the professional branch. It is confirmed " one of the most dynamic, innovative and professional branches" by leaders. Secretariat of the Society anchored in Chongqing Instrument Materials Research Institute.

Instrument material is the development material basis of industrial instruments and meters, involving an extremely wide range of science and technology, including metal materials, semiconductor materials, polymer materials, optical materials, electronic ceramics, nano and intelligence materials, variety of functional material. The Society played an important role to promote the development of early functional materials instrument. In the early 90s, with Journal "Instrument Material" changed to "Functional Material" and the subsequent organization every three years to launch the series of meeting "China Conference on Functional Materials and Applications", that academic activities extended to the whole field of functional materials.

After three decades of development, this Council become China's the most dynamic area of functional materials, the most innovative and influential academic organizations, as well as China's science and technology had a major impact.

The former president of Beijing Science and Technology University, Professor Wang Run was the first, second and third council’s chairman of Instrument Materials Branch. Fourth Council was composed of former vice president of Shandong University, Chinese Academy of Sciences Mr. Jiang Minhua as the chairman. Fifth Council in October 2008 was set up in Tianjin. the Conference elected Jiang Minhua academician as Director, Huang Baiyun academician as Chief Deputy Director, Chongqing Instrument Materials Research Institute director Liu Qingbin, executive vice president, Tu Mingjing, Zeng Sumin and Du Youwei academicians as vice presidents. The Council is with nearly 150 functional materials area nationally known scientists, experts and scholars.

In recent years, the Council affiliated unit of Chongqing Instrument Materials Research Institute, under the correct leadership, in the care and guidance of the Society, each member unit's deep concern and strong support made remarkable achievements, further improved the role of "Functional Material" as builder of China science and technology core services platform; main planner, organizer and implementer of important academic activities, and promoted China functional material field’s academic prosperity, technological innovation and industry revitalization. In early 2003, the Society created a portal - China functional materials network; in May 2004, established a comprehensive academic and technology Journal - "Functional Materials Information"; in September 2004 and November 2007, the "Fifth China Conference on Functional Materials and Applications" and "Sixth China Functional Materials and Applications Academic Conference and 2007 Topics Forum for International Functional Materials" have been successfully held in Beijing and Wuhan. In 2005, 2006 and 2008, the Society has also held "National Functional Materials, Technology and Industry Forum" in Qingdao, Lanzhou and Tianjin.

 China Instrument Industry Association Instrument Materials Branch   

China Instrument Industry Association Instrument Material Branch approved by the former Ministry of Machinery Industry, was established in Shanghai's Jiading on November 23, 1994. It is based on the relevant enterprises of material production, development, research, application and sales, enterprise groups, research institutes, colleges and universities, marketing and service organizations and other units formed voluntarily national trade associations. The branch is socio-economic group, not constrainted by administrative relations, regional and ownership, under China Instrument Industry Association. The Secretariat anchored in Chongqing Instrument Materials Research Institute.

Since founding, the branch actively carried out the various activities for instrument functional materials information, quality, standards, and prices to make important contributions for promoting industry technological progress and industrial development. In December 2007, the association was set up. In Zhejiang Yueqing Yandang Mountain, Chongqing Instrument Materials Research Institute as the director of unit, Jiangsu Huaxin Alloy Co., Ltd., Chongqing Sichuan Instrument Factory Co., Ltd. metal functional materials division, Shenyang Alloy Material Co., Ltd., 7 units as vice president, and more than 30 executive directors and units formed the Fourth Council.

The new Council will be under China economic and social development's new situation, to seize opportunities, intensify its efforts for meeting challenges, and speed up China instrument functional materials enterprises own development to promote China's instrument functional materials industry technological progress and industrial revitalization.

 Instrument Functional Materials Productivity Promotion Center 

Instrument Functional Materials Productivity Promotion Center (hereinafter referred to IFMPC) was an industry corporation aggregate, in February 1999 approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology (National Science Gao Zi [1999] No. 012). A non-profit of professional institutions relies on Chongqing Instrument Materials Research Institute. The key tasks is to improve innovation capability of instrumentation materials industry and supply technological services to the local small-medium and township enterprises; integrate social resources as unite universities, research institutions and industry enterprises, communicate science and technology research and production lines, promote scientific research transforming to productive forces for instrument functional materials industries.

IFMPC rich information resources, testing equipment and strong technical force, testing varieties of functional materials on the instrument and testing the project is complete, with the industry and SME services, physical infrastructure. The Center is relying on instrumentation Materials Industry Association, instrument Materials Society, Technical Committee of Standardization instrument functional materials, instrumentation, materials, product quality supervision and inspection center of the intermediary institutions and other organizations will enter the WTO because of the challenges of the world to accept China's development of functional materials instrument their own contributions!

 National Instrument Functional Materials Standard Technology Committee

National Instrument Functional Materials Standard Technology Committee (SAC/TC419) is standardization organization in the technical expertise field of functional materials instrument based on the relevant provisions of "The People's Republic of China Standardization Law" and the statute of the National Standardization Technical Committee for functional materials and instrument industry development needs, to engage in the technical work of instrument functional materials specialized for the national standardization work of technical focal point.

TC419 Committee is led by the State Standardization Administration, the secretariat to undertake unit of Chongqing Instrument Materials Research Institute. The current standard committee are of 36 consultants and committee members, Zhao Guangming its director, Fan Kai, Li Weimin, Wang Youde, Wei Shoufang vice-chairman, Chen Linew member and secretary-general. These experts and renowned scholars come from China Silian Group, China Testing Technology Institute, and the other manufacturing enterprises, research institutes, universities, testing institutions and the typical users.

The committee are primarily responsible for standardization of instrument functional materials technology development plan, such as to develop the professional standard system table, propose the system amendments of the national standard, industry-standard planning and annual plan; for the professional industry standard review, reporting, modification as well as the national industry standard publicizing, organization and implementation, interpretation, etc. While standards technology consulting and services, the committee guide and help enterprises and other industries to carry out standardization technical focal points management. Standards are a total of 120 items, 53 national standards, 3 the national military standards, 64 mechanical industry standards, including the field of instrument functional materials base, product and test method. These standards constitute the existing national and industry instrument functional materials standard system. In guiding production, improving product quality, promotion of trade, the application and development of instrument functional materials, these play an important role.
