China National Conference on Functional Materials and Applications

Conference Introduction

China National Conference on Functional Materials and Applications, in 1991 by China Instrument Society of Instrument Materials Branch, the National "863" Experts Committee of New Materials, Chongqing Instrument Materials Research Institute, China Materials Research Society , China Electronics Institute, China Metals Society, China Physical Society, China Optical Society, and other units co-sponsored a series of meetings held every three years, the national, comprehensive, open and large academic event in the field of China Functional Materials Science and Technology.

The Conference aim at promoting China science and technology of new materials, technologies, processes, products’ research, development and applications, the organic integration for scientific research, production and application, the close combination of science and technology and the economy.

History

China Conference on Functional Materials and Applications has been successfully held five sessions, each co-sponsored by well-known national societies, research institutes and universities. The first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth were held respectively 1992,1995,1998,2001,2004, 2007 in Guilin, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xiamen, Beijing, and Wuhan (an overview of previous sessions, such as Table 1). After more than ten years development, the conference became a brand for large academic event of China technology industry, especially in the field of materials science and technology.
